In My Mailbox Monday

King's College letter drop - Cambridge University, UK
In January, Mailbox Monday is sponsored by the wonderful Rose City Reader. In My Mailbox is sponsored by The Story Siren.  These are the places where we brag about share the books that arrived in our mailboxes each week.  As always, I also try to find a mailbox that is somehow associated with what I'm reading right now.  I'm just starting Anatomy of Ghosts by Andrew Taylor.  It's set at Cambridge so I looked for a Cambridge mailbox and found the one above - a King's College letter drop.

On to the mailbox (sparse last week due to the holidays and all the lounging around we were all doing):

Delirious by Daniel Palmer (from the author).  One day, Charlie Giles is an up-and-coming electronics superstar. The next, he's a prime homicide suspect as his former employers are picked off one by one. Charlie watches his life unravel as his company and inventions are wrenched from his control, and his family is decimated. With nowhere else to turn, he enlists his schizophrenic brother to uncover the dark family secrets that lie at the heart of the unfolding terror.

Three Seconds by Roslund & Hellström (from the publisher).   Dark, suspenseful, and more riveting than any thriller at the local cineplex, THREE SECONDS is the latest novel from best-selling Swedish duo Anders Roslund and Börge Hellström-heirs apparent to Stieg Larsson and Henning Mankell as the masters of Scandinavian crime. Piet Hoffman, a top secret operative for the Swedish police, is about to embark on his most dangerous assignment yet: after years spent infiltrating the Polish mafia, he's become a key player in their attempt to take over amphetamine distribution inside Sweden's prisons. To stop them from succeeding, he will have to go deep cover, posing as a prisoner inside the country's most notorious jail.
