| September Morn by Paul Emile Chabas |
Here we are with another month gone past - only 3 left to go in this year. In all honesty I am thrilled September is over because it has kind of sucked for those of us living in the Bay Area without air conditioning. People here like to pretend it never gets hot, but it's been hot for a big chunk of this past month. The temperature in our apartment has been 85 degrees Fahrenheit at 10pm every night since this past Saturday - we finally got a break from the heat today and it's cooled down in here all the way to 80! It's been truly miserable and I'm hoping October won't bring more of the same.
Readingwise this was a good month, although a bit the-best-of-times-the-worst-of-times in terms of quality. Here's what I read:
- Book Review - Innocent by Scott Turow
- Book Review - The Fall (The Strain Trilogy #2) by ...
- Book Review - Blood Harvest by S.J. Bolton
- Book Review - The Faculty Club by Danny Tobey
- Book Review - Hell Gate by Linda Fairstein
- Book Review - Smiley's People by John le Carré
- Book Review - The Honourable Schoolboy by John le ...
- Book Review - Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy by John...
- Book Review and Giveaway - Hangman by Faye Kellerm...
- Book Review - Keeper by Kathi Appelt
- Book Review - That Summer in Paris by Morley Calla...
- Book Review - What We Have by Amy Boesky
- Book Review - The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingw...
- Book Review - Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ell...
- Book Review - The Devil Amongst the Lawyers by Sha...
- Book Review - The Art of Racing in the Rain by Gar...

You read a lot of great books this month! Always with the good comes the not-so-great reads but hey, it all equals out.
ReplyDeleteI loved your September list. Just finished Sun Also Rises myself - loved it.
ReplyDeleteYour fall blog background is great!
