Monthly Reading Roundup Post

Perseid Moonlight - August 9, 2010

Wow!  I can't believe it's the end of another month.  This was a pretty good month.  My son was here for most of the month and we did a lot of hanging out and reading and watching movies.  We hung out in San Francisco and Berkeley together and generally had a blast.  He's headed off to college at Evergreen State College and I'm really excited for him.  My husband also started up at UC Berkeley and we're planning to move to Berkeley once our current lease is up.  This has meant that we've spent time wandering around in Berkeley and I want to go now.  Sometimes it's just time for a change.


I got quite a bit of reading done this past month.  Here's what I read:

15 books read.  Some real standouts, too!  Loved The Language of Trees, The Genius, The Group, and The Spy Who Came in from the Cold.  Hated November Criminals and Captive Queen.  Onwards into September and fall weather.  Looking forward to continued coolness and more great reads.
