Thriller and Suspense Challenge 2010 - Wrap-Up Post

The Thriller and Suspense Challenge 2010 was sponsored by Book Chick City.  I am a sucker for various kinds of thrillers and suspense novels so this was a natural for me.  The challenge was to read 12 books in the Thriller/Suspense genre - it's a broad category and these books are lots of fun.

Here's what I read:

  1. Jericho's Fall by Stephen Carter
  2. The Strain by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan
  3. Glass Books of the Dream Eater by Gordon Dahlquist
  4. In the Dark by Mark Billingham
  5. Crime Beat by Michael Connelly
  6. Raven Stole the Moon by Garth Stein
  7. Heresy by S.J. Parris
  8. Evidence by Jonathan Kellerman
  9. Hell's Gate by Stephen Frey
  10. Still Missing by Chevy Stevens
  11. Hardball by Sara Paretsky
  12. Blood Oath by Christopher Farnsworth
The real stand-outs in this group are The Strain and Blood Oath - both combine horror and Jason Bourne-style thriller elements into two books that are great reading.
