Teaser Tuesday


Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Miz B of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) random teaser sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and the author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser!
My Teaser:

"By that point, of course, Dodie's family had sold the company embarking downstate on what I'd once heard referred to as "the Schlep of Tears."  I suppose for my relatives you'd have to rename it "the Long Dark Cocktail Party of the Soul," or talk about fleeing the Trust Bowl."

    6. I've been wondering, how do you get the "You might also like" widget that appears at the end of your posts? I've seen it on other blogs too and think it's a really neat idea.
