Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Miz B of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) random teaser sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title and the author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser!
My Teaser:

"Mogget, or whatever Mogget had become, braked the Paperwing again, in a series of shuddering halts that added bruises on top of bruises.  For the first time, Sabriel felt the incredible relief of knowing that they would survive."

  1. I haven't read any Garth Nix (I know, it's awful). Hope you're enjoying your book!

  2. I've never heard of this author, but this sounds like a very interesting book. Nice teaser. My teaser this week is from The Passage and it's up at The Crowded Leaf.

  6. "Mogget, or whatever Mogget had become. . ."

    Sounds ominous.

  7. I love Moggett! His shadow changes! How awesome is that?! I've been trying to get mine to change all freakin' day. It'd be too cool to have a human shadow one minute and then a bird shadow the next and then maybe a mouse or a dragon ...
