Here's the part where I reveal that I am approaching older than dirt, although I like to think of myself as an aspiring adult. I was born in 1963 and there were some good books published that year. Here's what I'm thinking of reading for this:
- The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin
- That Summer in Paris
by Morley Callaghan
- The Collector by John Fowles
- The Spy Who Came in from the Cold by John le Carre
- The Group by Mary McCarthy
- City of Night by John Rechy
- The Girls of Slender Means by Muriel Spark

Oh no! I'm a bad influence! I'm just pleased to see another person reading books from the 1960s for this challenge. ;-)
ReplyDelete#s 3, 4, 5, and 7 on your list are on my TBR shelf. I look forward to reading about what you think of them.
Welcome to the challenge! Your choices are all totally new to me (and not just because they aren't "my" year). I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say about them!
